WW2 Japanese Type 98 Army Shin Gunto Officer’s Sword Clay Tempered Blade Iron Saya Hazuya Polish

This is an authentic and fully functional reproduction of a WW2 Gunto Japanese Officer Sword, meticulously clay tempered and polished to achieve a mirror-like surface. Crafted using traditional techniques, this gunto sword is exceptionally sturdy and suited for various applications. The blade undergoes multiple heat treatments and hand forging processes to eliminate impurities. Through the clay tempering method, the gunto sword achieves a genuine hamon (temper line), combining both toughness and flexibility. the blade was also hazuya polished. 

The blade boasts a full tang construction and is meticulously hand-sharpened, making it suitable for battle and combat. The sword is accompanied by an iron and hardwood scabbard, a brown real leather scabbard cover, genuine rayskin (SAME'GAWA), and premium engraved copper fittings. The scabbard features a functional lock mechanism with a button release.
