Handmade KATANA Japanese Samurai Sword SNAKE THEME Koshirae Hazuya Polishing Blade

This Japanese katana sword has been handcrafted according to traditional swordmaking methods. It features a hand-forged blade made from resilient 1095 steel and differentially hardened through clay tempering to reveal a distinctive hamon pattern.

The blade has been Deep hazuya polished, and full tang, secured with two bamboo mekugi pegs. Double hi (blood grooves) run along each side of the blade for improved balance.

The saya scabbard is made from sturdy wood and finished in a deep glossy red lacquer.The ray skin wrapped tsuka handle exhibits a tight hishigami wrapping beneath snake-themed brass fittings, including the tsuba guard, kashira, fuchi and menuki ornaments. Completing the hilt assembly are blackened brass habaki blade collar and seppa spacers.

This finely crafted katana can be fully disassembled and reassembled.
