This Chinese Tiangang jian (天罡剑)is fully handmade, using traditional Longquan craftsmanship, Tiangang is a noun in ancient Chinese astrology, it is the handle of the Big Dipper. The blade is made of folded pattern steel with clay tempered, and the folding pattern (HADA) is clearly visible. The blade is repeatedly heat treated and hand forged to remove impurities, which gives it strength and flexibility, and it's durable enough. All beautiful accessories are made of brass with fine carvings, the scabbard and handle are made with a high quality ebony wood.
